After a year working on Melbourne's stock exchange, Geoff moved north with his father and brother in 1958. In 1961, he travelled to London and worked as a valuer's collaborator for two years. In 1966, he returned to the privately owned firm and earned his certification as a valuer and house expert. Geoff has served on the Members Council for more than 40 years and was formerly the leader of the REIV Mornington Peninsula Division. John Crowder and Sons was the largest family-owned land firm in Victoria at the time, with eight offices spanning the entirety of the Mornington Peninsula and employing 65 people. Geoff took over as Managing Director of Crowder and Sons after his father John and brother Ian died, until the company was sold to a public entity in 2006. Geoff presently works at Nichols Crowder alongside his sons Michael and Tom and is active in the community.
