Ampol Limited have put 18 development sites located across the country up for sale, in an international expressions of interest process being conducted by Lincoln Blackledge and Julian White from Stonebridge Property Group.
The national portfolio of sites, consists of 5 in Victoria, 4 in New South Wales, 4 in South Australia, 2 in Queensland and 1 in each in Western Australia, ACT and Tasmania. The sites vary in size from 345sqm to 25,390sqm and have a range of zonings that will allow for varied development outcomes.
Brendan O’Rourke, Head of Investment Management at Ampol Limited said of the decision to undertake a sale process: “These sites have been selected for divestment following an extensive network review. Whilst surplus to the Ampol network, the positions and locations present a wide array of development opportunities that will undoubtedly appeal to a broad cross-section of developers and owner-occupiers across the country. Ampol’s remediationprogramme is drawing to a close and settlement of each property will occur post-remediation.”
Stonebridge Partner, Lincoln Blackledge, said the presentation of these properties comes to market at an excellent time “Residential pricing growth has been evident across the entire nation over the past 12 months, meaning there is an increasing demand for development opportunities to fulfil this demand. In addition, many of these sites are located in quality regional centres, where local economies have been beneficiaries of enhanced popularity given the travel restrictions in place over recent times.”
The 18 high profile sites are for sale separately, in groups or in-one-line, via an international expressions of interest process closing Wednesday 17th November 2021.
