CBD Development group have submitted plans for a 10-storey residential tower in Essendon.
The application, lodged with council, covers a commercial site at 1144-1154 Mount Alexander Road which it bought for $13.9 million in a deal settled last August.
The strategic purchase, following a Savills campaign, provided CBD Development Group with another street frontage and the opportunity to propose the medium-density development it has. CBD Development Group is seeking expressions of interest for the complex’s 220 dwellings. It has branded the project Unique on the Park (apartments in the complex will overlook nearby Woodlands Park).
About 10 kilometres north-west of the Melbourne CBD, the Essendon property is near a busy junction connecting Mount Alexander Road to Keilor and Bulla roads
