QIC has sold a gateway Robina parcel of land to a joint venture partnership between De Luca Corporation and Glen Wright’s, Wright Private Capital.
8 Laver Drive Robina is a strategic 1.31ha parcel which has frontage to the M1, Robina Parkway and Laver Drive. It is understood the new owners have been busy securing tenants for the site and have 95% pre commitment to major national tenants and construction will commence in September this year with completion in June 2022.
Glen Wright said “Since leaving Cushman in late 2019 we have been investing in a number of strategic mixed use developments across the southeast corner and identified this site working alongside Steve Clark. We thought this site had all the hallmarks of a great development and this has been proven with the amount of tenant interest.”
Nic De Luca also commented “Glen and I entered the industry at similar time almost 30 years ago and being able to partner with him on this project has been a wonderful extension of a longstanding business relationship. Our skillsets complement each other, and For De Luca, this project is a wonderful addition to our significant development and construction pipeline which continues to grow and expand year on year.”
The site was transacted through Steve Clark of newly formed CLARK Property Partners. Mr Clark said “This site along with the flurry of site sales on the Gold Coast continues to demonstrate the growth in the local market for commercial and residential projects. From what I understand, the partnership has national and multi-national tenants already locked in, and with their strong track record will deliver a landmark development for the area.”
