The Week That Was - 31 August

With the noticeable pick-up in activity across the eastern states, we've spent another busy week off our feet and on the grid. It was hustle and bustle and strong lattes all around the Development Ready office; let me give you a snapshot at what's been happening this week. 

Major Alternative Developments in Construction

Breaking ground amongst a promising future
Gold Coast Mayor, Tom Tate, and Queensland State Premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk, joined a breaking of the ground ceremony at the future site of the much anticipated Dorsett Hotel and Star Residences on the Gold Coast.

The $400 million project is described as a 'shot in the arm' for the local economy and continues a trend across Australia begging the question is Australia fast becoming a hotel growth centre?
