The business has amassed some $57b of funds under advice across a network of three hundred private clients advisers working in twelve offices throughout Australia & Hong Kong.
Since joining the business in 1990 as a State Manager, Karl rose through the ranks and was appointed CEO & Managing Director for five years during the period 2004 - 2009, before becoming Executive Chairman of the firm for a period of eleven years - early last year, he re-joined the company's management team in the hands-on role of CEO.
Outside of his immediate interests in Ord Minnett, Karl holds a number of corporate and philanthropic positions, including as Chairman of the Brisbane Bronco's NRL team, Chair of the Braveheart's Foundation Fund & board member of J.P Morgan's Australia Advisory Council.
He is also a Former Chairman of QSuper and the Stockbrokers & Financial Advisers Association of Australia and a former Board Member of RACQ.
Karl is a graduate of Griffith University having completed a Bachelor of Business & Commerce degree and has completed Diploma's with the AICD, FINSIA & the Stockbrokers Association of Australia.
